Please read the following before booking your appointment. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Booking Policy
All appointments are booked in advance. A deposit may be required to secure your appointment, which will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day.
Please ensure you have completed a consultation and patch test (where required) before attending your first laser treatment.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the loss of your deposit. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in full payment being required to rebook.
We understand that life happens please just let us know as soon as possible.
Patch Test Policy
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, SPMU removal or skin treatment session.
This is a non-negotiable safety requirement and cannot be waived. Please contact us to book your patch test before your first appointment.
Preparation Guidelines
Laser Hair Removal:
- Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment
- Do not wax, thread or use epilators between sessions
- Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for 4 weeks before treatment
- Remove any fake tan from the area
- Avoid perfume or deodorant on the treatment area on the day
Aftercare Policy
Full aftercare guidance will be provided after every treatment. Please follow the aftercare advice given to you to ensure the best results and minimise the risk of any reaction.
- Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after treatment
- Apply SPF 50 daily to treated areas
- Avoid heat, exercise and hot baths for 24 to 48 hours
- Do not pick or scratch the treated area
Contraindications
Some treatments may not be suitable for everyone. You will be asked to complete a full medical history form before treatment. Please inform us of any medical conditions, medications or changes to your health.
Contraindications may include (but are not limited to):
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area
- Certain medications (e.g. Roaccutane, photosensitising drugs)
- Recent sun exposure or active tan
- Certain skin conditions please ask if unsure
Privacy & Data Policy
Surrey Laser & Skin Studio takes your privacy seriously. Any personal information collected during your consultation or booking is held securely and used solely for the purpose of providing your treatments.
Your data will never be shared with third parties without your consent. You have the right to request access to, or deletion of, any data held about you at any time.
Results Disclaimer
Results vary from person to person and are dependent on individual skin type, hair type, lifestyle and adherence to aftercare guidance. While we strive to achieve the best possible results for every client, no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.
A course of treatments is typically required for optimal results, and this will be discussed with you during your consultation.
